Introduction of Cottonseed Saw Delinter

Saw-tooth type cotton seed delinter is mainly used to separate short fiber from ginned cottonseeds in cottonseed processing plants and cottonseed oil mills. The machine has three models separately for stripping the first, the second and the third (the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ) cut lint. It can also be used as matching equipment with a cotton ginning machine (the match ratio depends on the actual requirements).
* MR-144G is the optimum design of MR-144 series delinter, smaller space, high yield rate, low linter remaining.
* MR-161B is the optimum design of MR-161, effectively reducing saw shaft motor power allocation, lower power consumption.
* For model MR-178 delinter, first cut, second cut, and third cut are all brush type delinter.

How Does Saw Delinter Work?

Double feeding rollers feed the cottonseeds continuously onto the cotton seed slide from the cottonseed hopper. Cottonseeds slide down the slide into the working box. Iron debris in the seeds is absorbed onto the slide by the magnet behind it. By the stirring of seed stirring roller and frictional pulling force of the saw blade, cottonseeds in the working box form the seed roll, which rotates with seed stirring roller. When the seed roll moves into the space between seed stirring roller and saw blade, as the friction between saw blade and cottonseeds increases, and the linear velocity on the surface of saw blade is higher than that of seed roll, cotton linters are stripped from cottonseeds. Cottonseeds slide down the ribs and are discharged through the cottonseed finger. Cotton linters are brought by sawteeth into the linter brushing part where they are brushed into linter course and sent to the battery condenser. Cotton trash is discharged from the trash removal adjustable board.

The above output refers to the output of standard grade seed cotton whose moisture
is not more than 10%,  the rate of linter remaining and linter quality reaches standard.
