Lint cleaner is mainly used to remove the impurities contained in lint cotton, which plays a significant role in cotton processing procedures. In order to yield the greatest return, we should first know the preparation work before using this machine, then fully understand how to operate it safely.
Preparation Work before Operation
1. Operating personnel should fully understand the structure, working principle, the performance of the lint cleaning machine.
2. Check up the dust cage, lint slide and other parts, remove residual lint if any.
3. Inspect whether the four-way valve leaf plate rotates flexibly, and locate where to clean the lint.
4. Examine the brush cylinder, the channel saw cylinder, and other revolving parts, if there is any damage or friction, fix or change it immediately.
5. Inspect transmission shaft bearings, driving belt. If there is any damage, replace it in time, make sure the driving belt-tightening is moderate.
6. Check the fasteners, and if they become loose, fasten again.
The Do’s and Don’ts when Operating
1. Let the lint cleaner idle for a few minutes before feeding it into the cotton lint. It is especially forbidden that feed the lint before the motor fully start-up. Besides, turning off the machine during operation is also strictly prohibited.
2. If the feed roller is blocked by uneven quilt wadding, turn off all related motors first. Then remove the blocked lint out of the interior cleaner after the rotation axis completely stops. Then restart the lint cleaner again.
3. Check the quilt wadding and trash removal regularly. Once you find the uneven distribution of clean lint or a large number of noils, turn off the machine instantly.
4. Stop the machine upon smelling an anxious burnt smell or hearing abnormal noise.
5. Turn on and turn off the cleaner according to the following procedures:
Turn on: Impurity absorption blower→cleaning motor→feeding motor(or cotton collecting motor)→lint cleaner blower→cotton gin.
Turn off: Cotton gin→lint cleaner blower→feeding motor(or cotton collecting motor)→cleaning motor→impurity absorption blower.
