Working Principle of Saw Type Lint Cleaner

Take advantage of the high-speed rotating prick roller, the cotton fiber clamped between the feed roller and feed plate can be hooked and carded. The centrifugal force produced by impurities is greater than the binding force between impurities and cotton fiber. Therefore, through the impacting and scraping of the cleaning bar, the impurities can be separated from the cotton fiber and discharged outside.

Moisture Regain of Lint & Cleaning Efficiency

Generally, the appropriate moisture regains of lint is 6.38%-9.89%. The higher moisture regains of the lint, the worse elasticity of the cotton fiber. So the cotton fiber can be deformed easily, thus affecting the carding effect and cleaning efficiency. Besides, the lint cleaner can be blocked easily. Conversely, low moisture regain makes the cotton fiber fluffy, improving the carding effect. However, the strength of fiber becomes relatively weak, easily leading to breakage and damage to fiber.
